President Obama signs the iPad
Oct 23, 2010 News
Sylvester Caan dropped us a note to tell us (and show us!) his iPad being signed by US President Barak Obama. Take it away, Sylvester:
At a rally in Seattle, WA at the University of Washington, the President used the touchscreen on my iPad to give me his autograph.
He looked slightly surprised, but proceeded to use his finger to scribble on the iPad using the Adobe Ideas app.
Check out the video after the break.

iPad config page mentions Camera – Is it coming ?
Aug 4, 2010 News
Well, it is known fact that iPad would eventually be seen with a camera, we have previously seen few hints which pointed this out. But now Apple Insider found out AppleInsider found a security document over on Apple’s website that says the iPad has a restriction setting that will cut off “use of the camera” with an Exchange policy or a certain configuration. That would indeed seem to indicate that some future form of the iPad will come camera-equipped.
While AppleInsider’s document explicitly shows an iPad, here’s the iPhone Security Overview, and it looks like a lot of the text was cut-and-pasted from the document for the little handset to the one about Apple’s tablet. There may be a possibility that its just some kind of typo , probably whoever was writing the new document for the iPad just forgot to take out the part about restricting the camera.
Even if this is a mistake, we find it hard to ignore the future iPad with a Camera. The Camera ( or two) would definitely prove to be the future of iPad application development with many ipad developers awaiting the Camera ready iPad and the integration of video conferencing and photography in apps and so are the users desperate to get a hands on with the new iPad , we hope to eventually see an updated version of the iPad’s hardware very soon .

Bigger Opportunity for iPad Developers With New International iPad App Store
May 20, 2010 News
Indeed Twitter is best place to find the real time news on anything. Number of Tweets shows that the iPad App Store is now live in certain European countries, like UK, France and Germany, as well as in other parts of the world like Australia and New Zealand.
People in Europe were able to pre-order the iPad on May 10, and the device is scheduled to ship on May 28, by Apple. Now, for those who couldn’t wait that long to see the iPad in their countries and ordered from America via their friends and family are now able to access iPad App Store from Europe and other parts of the world.
Now with the iPad appstore going international I think we are going to see a lot of magazine apps very soon.
Basically, iPad developers can now reach a wider international user base and you might see your favorite non-American magazine / news app really soon on iPad. There gonna be lots of App in the App Store and it would not be surprising to see 6 digits apps only for iPad in the near future.
Are you gearing up for this new opportunity?

Steve Jobs Says Yes to iPad Printing
May 10, 2010 News
MacRumors mentioned than Steve Jobs answered an user’s email that asked Why the iPad cannot print document and Steve sent a short reply saying “it will come”.
While Steve has been very active recently answering to emails by various Apple product users his answers has always been pretty short and abrupt and in this case it is missing a critical component. He has mentioned that iPad is going to get printing but when ? the email doesn’t say anything on that.
Let’s just hope that iPad gets printing capabilities at the earliest and Apple doesn’t keep us waiting for long.
